This project was produced in collaboration with Williams Design Group.

This client wanted a canopy built over their existing deck for shade. The problem was how to achieve this without eliminating all of the light into the kitchen and dining room. The angle and size of the new deck roof along with the open "trellis" portion between this roof and the existing home provide the necessary shade while still allowing ample natural sun into the home.
