This project was produced while at STUDIOS Architecture.

Located in the space between Massachusetts Avenue, Eye and 6th Streets, NW, the development of nearly the entire city block necessitated an approach that honored the historic surroundings, yet integrated contemporary approaches that will allow the building to stand out. The building’s facade is historically sensitive to the older brick townhouses on Eye Street while maintaining a modern building design. A departure from the traditional Washington round corner tower, the articulated “folding” glass of the building corner brings a new formal language to the site.
