This speculative office building is located in downtown Washington, DC. The developer requested the design be an efficient, high quality building that would become a landmark on this mid-block site overlooking a broad avenue and small park. The goal for the design was to create an exemplary, leading edge office building that acknowledges its urban setting. Workspaces will have maximum glazing for access to exterior light and landscape. Ground floor spaces will be transparent to activate the street and illustrate the functions within. The building will have a terrace at the 9th floor as well as a roof garden.
